Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated February 2026
This policy sets out how deposits, cancellations, reschedules and weather interruptions are handled. Specific terms for your booking are stated in your charter agreement.
Deposits
A deposit is required to hold a date. Unless your charter agreement states otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable once the date has been reserved, because the yacht and crew are withdrawn from availability.
Cancellation by the charterer
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the charter date may be applied as a credit toward a future charter within twelve months, subject to availability. Cancellations within 30 days of the charter date forfeit the deposit, and cancellations within 7 days may be charged the full charter fee.
Weather
Safety decisions rest with the captain. If the captain determines that conditions are unsafe to depart, the charter is rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date at no additional cost, or refunded in full if no such date can be found. Rain alone is not grounds for cancellation. If a charter is cut short after departure for weather, a pro-rata credit may be offered at our discretion.
Cancellation by us
If a mechanical issue or crew availability prevents a charter from operating, we will offer a comparable vessel where possible, or a full refund of all amounts paid.
Late arrival and early return
Charter time begins at the scheduled departure time. Late arrival by the charter party does not extend the charter, and no refund is given for unused time or for an early return requested by the charterer.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days.
