Peanut Island and the Lake Worth Inlet
Palm Beach's advantage is simple: the Lake Worth Inlet flushes clean ocean water into the lagoon, so the anchorage off Peanut Island runs turquoise on most days. It's a ten-minute run from our West Palm Beach docks, the sandbar is protected, and there is a fraction of the traffic you'd find at Nixon or Haulover. Add a cruise past the Worth Avenue estates on the way home and you have the day.
The biggest yachts in our fleet
Palm Beach is where our largest boats live. The 92' Horizon carries a jacuzzi, a skylounge and four ensuite staterooms; the 112' Westport is a full tri-deck with a jet ski, seabob, wakeboard and tender in the garage. Four hours aboard the Westport is around $10,400 — genuinely competitive for a yacht of that size anywhere in Florida.
Season and pricing
Palm Beach season runs roughly December through April and rates hold firm through it. Our four-hour charters here start near $5,300 on the 50' Galeon — which includes a $350 fuel allowance — and climb to $14,000 on the Horizon 92. Most rates on this coast are quoted with tax included; the yacht page states exactly what's covered.
Overnight and multi-day charters
The Horizon 92 and Westport 112 both have four staterooms and are set up for overnight use. Multi-day itineraries to the Bahamas, Key West or up the coast are available on request with the appropriate crew and provisioning arranged in advance.
Common questions
Chartering in Palm Beach
- How much is a yacht charter in Palm Beach?
- Four-hour crewed charters in Palm Beach start at about $5,300 on the 50' Galeon and reach roughly $14,000 on the 92' Horizon. Eight-hour days range from about $9,100 to $17,300. Rates cover the whole yacht with captain and crew.
- Where do Palm Beach charters depart from?
- West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Hypoluxo and Delray Beach depending on the yacht. Each yacht page lists its home port, and repositioning to another dock can usually be arranged.
- Is Peanut Island worth it?
- It's the reason most people charter here. Protected water, a clean sand bottom, a snorkel lagoon and far fewer boats than Miami. Our Palm Beach yachts all carry floats, and several carry paddleboards and snorkel gear.
- Can we charter overnight?
- Yes, on the 92' Horizon and 112' Westport. Both have four ensuite staterooms and full-time crew. Overnight and multi-day rates are quoted individually based on route and provisioning.
- Do you offer charters to the Bahamas?
- On our larger yachts, yes. Bahamas crossings require advance planning for crew, customs and fuel, so we ask for at least a few weeks' notice.
